Angels
Angels came from heaven to earth,
Announced to us His holy birth.
They told the shepherds where to go,
Their faces, bright with heavenly glow.
They watch o’er us throughout the night.
They care for us with all their might.
Their mighty power is oft revealed.
Their gentle touch is not concealed.
They’re white as snow on a winter’s day.
They’re soft like breeze o’er new mown hay.
They’re quick and strong like rushing streams.
Their light is bright like morning beams.
Although here they have a special place,
They work beyond earth’s time and space.
Their jobs are many, not just a few,
Including taking care of me and you.
