Christmas Brings Memories
As I was walking down the street
Fresh fallen snow crunched under my feet.
I passed by the house where I lived as a child
Memories were flooding both precious and mild
Life has it stages when sometimes you sing
And some filled with sadness which life sometimes bring
For good times and bad all weave together
To make you a person hopefully for better.
First your a child then have your own
Before you know it, they are all grown.
For new times do come with each girl and boy
Your children grows up, bringing sadness and joy
But soon they move on, and life moves ahead
With new chapters of life where others have lead.
Now you're at the end of the stages of life
Each one bringing both joys and strife.
Each one is different, and changes are made
Each brings new memories which are replayed.
Each have their place in our thoughts and our heart
To bring a whole life together where each have their part.
